It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dear brother, Kevin Barron on Thursday, Dec. 31, 2015 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
Born Oct. 22, 1950 in North Sydney, he was the loving son of the late Andrew and Ethel (Reynolds) Barron.
Kevin worked for many years with HB Nickerson in North Sydney and later as a flagman with Municipal ReadyMix in Sydney. He was a member of St. Joseph Church in Bras d’Or.
He is survived by his loving siblings, Barbara, Diane, Gary, all at home and Joe (Marlene) of Upper Leitches Creek. Also surviving are his three nephews Joey, Jason and John Paul.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by an infant brother John Norman.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, in the W.J. Dooley Funeral Home, 107 Pleasant St., North Sydney. A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Church in Bras d’Or with Rev. Peter McLeod officiating. Burial will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery at a later date.
