A thoughtful, kind and gentle spirit Delbert spent his life supporting his family, and extended that care to everyone around him. Be it a drive home for a friend after a get together, helping a neighbour with a chore or simply to offer useful advice, he was always the first one to volunteer his time and energy.

Special thanks to the friends in Nova Scotia who welcomed him to their events and to staff at Elk Court for taking such good care of him in his final months.
A memorial get together for family will be planned for the spring of 2016 in his boyhood home of Cadomin, Alberta. In lieu of flowers or donations, please just spend a moment to think about those around you who always offer a helping hand and reward them with a random act of kindness.
