Catherine Pellegrin. January 21, 1937 – January 1, 2016. Catherine died as she lived, in peace and gentleness, and full of grace. Her family commends her to God’s keeping “until we meet again”: her husband Bruce; her children, Theresa Johnson (Bruce), Christina Guest, Michael Pellegrin (Lyne); her grand-children, Rebecca Johnson, Geoffrey and Jonathan Guest, and Marion, Charlie and Juliette Champoux – Pellegrin. Catherine was pre-deceased by her parents, Monica and Derek Arnold, and her beloved daughter, Jacqueline. She will be greatly missed by her sister, Margaret Niven (Steve) and her sister-in-law, Lynda Faulks (Ian). A celebration of Catherine’s life was at St. James Anglican Church in Brooklyn, N.S., on Thursday January 7th, 2016, beginning with Bruce greeting people at 10:30 a.m., followed by the service at 11:00 a.m., a light lunch in the church hall, and the burial was at Newport Landing Cemetery, Avondale. The family wishes to thank all those who offered prayers and support since we learned of Catherine’s cancer three weeks ago, and especially the medical staff on Unit 200 of Windsor Community Hospital.
