Larry Trainor of Stratford, and formerly of Montague, passed peacefully at the Garden Home on Tuesday, January 5, 2016, age 86 years.
Beloved husband of Nanette (nee Cook) and loving father of Karen Gosley (Gordon), Tom MacLeod (Cathy), Wendy Foster (Bob), Lorianne Davies (Angus) and Gregory Trainor (Jodie). Larry will be lovingly remembered by his 12 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, sister, Viola Murnaghan, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by 3 sisters and 3 brothers.
Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford, for visitation Thursday, January 7, 2016 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held Friday, January 8, 2016 at the Stratford Chapel, Hillsboro Funeral Home at 10:30 a.m. Interment will take place at the Montague Community Park Cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Alzheimer's Society or the Cancer Society would be appreciated.
