WARD
Gertrude Emma Ward, aged 98 years of Yorkton and formerly of Cardross, SK, passed away on Wednesday, December 16th, 2015. She was predeceased by her husband, Barclay; parents, William and Eva Robinson; sisters: Alida (Bob) Noble, Evelyn (Sam) Pickard and Oma (Jack) Pickard; brothers: Lyle Robinson, Waldo (Norma) Robinson, Ronald Robinson and Larry Robinson; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Lloyd (Luella) Ward and Oscar (Adeline) Ward; great-granddaughter, Shantel Elaine Brown; father-in-law, mother-in-law, and stepfather-in-law: Sid Ward, Sarah and Charles McLeod. Gertrude is survived by her daughter, Donna (Vernon) Brown; grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Ward (Connie) Brown and Leighton (Kristin), Shari (Craig) Thompson and Kade and Jayce, Johnna (Toosh) McBride and Karissa and T.J.; sisters-in-law: Edna Robinson, Myrtle Robinson and Zena Robinson (Ken Poole); as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 9th, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Reverend Douglas Hallman will officiate and interment will take place at Rosedale Cemetery. A Time of Visitation for Family and Friends will be held on Friday, January 8th, 2016 from 7:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home.
