The death occurred peacefully with his family by his side at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Tuesday, January 5, 2016, of Hilaire “Hilary” Joseph Arsenault at the age of 63 years. He was born in Summerside on January 22, 1952, son of Denise and the late Léo J.T. Arsenault. Hilaire is survived by his loving mother Denise, also cherished and forever in the hearts of his brothers and sisters: Claudette (Dessie) McNeill, Gérard (Cindy), Léona, Marcel, Léo Paul (Marcia), Angèle (Yvon), Normand (Darlene), Edgar (Sheila) and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews. Resting at the Evangeline Coop Funeral Home, Urbainville, until Saturday, Jan. 9, then to St. Philippe and St. Jacques Church, Egmont Bay, where funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to a trust fund for Joey would be greatly appreciated.
