The death occurred at the Wedgewood Manor, Summerside, on Tuesday, January 5, 2016, of Ann Harrell (nee Middleton) of Fernwood, in her 80th year. Dear wife of Peter Harrell and loving mother of Rob of Fernwood and Heather of Australia. Devoted Nannie of grandsons Colin and Ryan Green. Also survived by her brother Bob Middleton (Jennifer) of Newmarket, ON. Ann was predeceased by her parents Hugh and Elinor Middleton. Respecting Ann’s wishes, there will be no visitation held, however a Service of Remembrance will take place in the spring of 2016. Ann was well known for her wonderful talent as an excellent seamstress, working with a number of Island and Ontario designers, decorators and fabric outlets. For many years she was an active member of the Village Craft House in North Bedeque and took part in its many activities and acted as treasurer for several years. Ann also served as secretary of the Bedeque Craft Centre in Central Bedeque. Her talents, humour and love will be sorely missed by her family and all who had the good fortune to know her. Memorial donations in Ann’s memory to the Wedgewood Manor Equipment Fund or the Prince County Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
