Milton Gerald Schofield, age 73, of Falmouth, N.S. passed away peacefully at home, with his family by his side on Tuesday, January 5, 2016. Mr. Schofield was born August 29, 1942 in Windsor, N.S. He is the son of the late Aubrey and Evelyn (Tracy) Schofield. He leaves behind his loving wife of 50 years, Elizabeth Annie (Payzant), loving daughter, Pamela Wilkins (Glenn), sons; Garnet and Tim (Michelle), grandchildren; Cody and Amy Wilkins, Mashayla Conway, Jaryd and Janessa Hamblin. Along with his parents Milton was predeceased by his son Gerald, sisters; Helen and Myrna, brothers; Ervin, Earl, Doug and Harley. Milton became a well-known self-employed carpenter for over 40 years and when retirement age came he wasn’t ready to slow down therefore, continued to assist other carpenters with cleanup and removals of supplies on work sites for many more years. Milton had a big heart who loved to care for others and when time would permit, he would enjoy a game of bingo or crib.
