Dorothy MacDonald
Churchville - Dorothy Paulette (Fennell) MacDonald, 58, of Churchville, passed away Thursday morning, January 7, peacefully with her loving family by her side.
Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of Mary MacIntosh Fennell of MacLellan’s Brook and the late William Fennell.
Dorothy was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
Surviving are daughters: Hannah (Greg) MacNeil, Little Harbour; Heather MacDonald, Eureka; and son, Bradley (April) MacDonald, Pictou Landing; grandchildren: Jack and Ian MacNeil; Jacob, Charlotte and Ben MacDonald; sisters: Sheila (Dave) Cluett, Halifax; Donna Fennell, Stellarton; Hannah (Collie) Fennell, New Glasgow; Lesley (Doug) Muir, Salem; brothers: Bob (Sandy) Fennell, New Glasgow; Jack (Debbie) Fennell, MacLellan’s Brook; Greg (Terri) Fennell, MacLellan’s Brook; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation 2-4 and 7-9 pm Sunday in the R.H. Porter Funeral Home, New Glasgow, from where funeral service will be held at 1 pm Monday, with Father Tom MacNeil officiating.
Donations in her memory may be made to the Aberdeen Palliative Care Society or C.H.A.D.
