Ethel Sarah Chisholm – 97 of Little Dyke, passed away on Saturday, January 9th, 2016.
She was the daughter of the late Neil and Mary Jane MacNeil (Sommers) of Antigonish.
Loving mother of Evelyn, Dartmouth, Leone (Larry Cox), Little Dyke, Donald (Angela Baker), Dartmouth, Claire (Richard Huston), British Columbia, Gerry (Linda MacKinnon), Truro, Peter (Debbie) Calgary, Alberta, Betty, Timberlea; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; daughter in law, Susan, Pembroke, Ontario; sisters, Sr. Harriet MacNeil, CND, Sydney, Irene (Bill Armstrong) , Ontario.
Ethel was predeceased by her husband, John; sons, Jamie and Jack.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 12th at 11am in Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 669 Prince St., Truro, with Fr. Jim O’Connor, celebrant. Reception will follow in Campbell Hall. Interment will take place in Saint Ninian’s Cemetery, Antigonish. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ethel’s memory may be made to a charity of choice.
