It is with great sadness that the family of the late Bridie Toner announces her passing on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 from the Long Term Care Home in Corner Brook in her 95th year. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her son Bill (Ann) Gorveatt of New Hampshire, US and daughter Diane Gorveatt of Oregon, US, two brothers Roland (Melissa) White of Trout River and Jake (Linda) White of Brampton, Ontario, three sisters Lillian Stearsman of California, US, Evelyn (Bill) Edwards of Brooks, Alberta and Goldie Fleming of Red Deer, Alberta, seven grandchildren Mark (Priscilla) Gorveatt, William (Victoria) Gorveatt, Joshua (Christine) Gorveatt of New Hampshire, US, Cheryl (Maryann) Gorveatt-Dill, Christine Gorveatt of Mass., US, Toni (Mark Maphis) Gorveatt of Virginia, US, great-grandchildren Christine Peaslee of Mass., US, Shawn Peaslee of Germany, Marcus and Noah Maphis of Virginia, US, Giovanni Gonzalez, Gabriella Gonzalez, Charlotte Gorveatt, Rocco Gorveatt and William Gorveatt of New Hampshire, US. Also, several nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Predeceased by father and mother Ernest and Eva White and sister Rita (Walter) Crocker. Friends may visit the Anglican Church in Trout River on Saturday, January 16th, 2016 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm from where the funeral service will take place on Sunday, January 17th, 2016 at 2 p.m. with Reverend Marlaine Leggo officiating, interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to St. Simon/St. Jude Anglican Church in Trout River.
