Carr, Wilson Coburn
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Wilson Carr of Geary, NB, announces his death at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Wednesday, January 13th, 2016. Born in Fredericton, NB, on May 10th, 1944, he was the husband of Joyce (Smith) Carr.
In addition to his wife, Joyce, he leaves behind his daughter, Victoria Winters (Darren); grandchildren, Dorien and Sydney Winters; brother, Weston Carr (Sandra); nephews, Jason Carr (Julie), Ronald Smith (Sharon), and Larry Smith (Theresa); great nieces and nephews, Ella and Chase Carr and Brianna Smith; furry walking buddy, Midnight; as well as many cousins, extended family and good friends. Wilson was predeceased by his parents, Coburn and Florence Carr.
Wilson was a jack of all trades and an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He will be remembered by his family as a loving husband, father, and brother who will be dearly missed.
Visitation will be held at Oromocto Funeral Home on Sunday, January 17th, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. A memorial service will be held at Geary Baptist Church on Monday, January 18th at 2:00 pm with Rev. Robert Weaver officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in Wilson's memory can be made to the Geary, French Lake, Waterville Cemetery, Geary Baptist Church or a charity of the donor's choice.
