GAUVIN, MARGUERITE

Mrs. Marguerite Gauvin, 99, of Residence Bellevue, Dieppe, NB, passed away on Saturday, January 16th, 2016, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton, NB. Born in Grande Digue, NB, she was the daughter of the late Albenie and the late Delima (née: Bourgeois) Vautour.
Mrs. Gauvin was a member of Club d’Age d’Or and Saint-Anselme Parish.
She is survived by four daughters: Carmella Powers and Claudette (Frank) Drisdelle, both of Moncton, Phyllis (Frank) Melanson and Gisèle (Mitch) Michaud, both of Dieppe; two sons: Claude (Pauline) of Dieppe and Normand of Moncton; 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Phélias (2009); her son, Valmond (2013) and her siblings: Omer, Armand, Louis, Juliette, Jeanne and Marie.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Wednesday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Saint-Anselme Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, N.B., on Thursday, January 21th, 2016 at 11:00 am. Internment in Chartersville Funeral Home Columbarium, Dieppe, NB.
