LISSON, KENNETH
It is with saddened hearts the family announces the passing of Kenneth Frederick Ernest Lisson of Apohaqui on January 17, 2016 at the age of 69. Born in Saint John, he was a son to the late Jarvis and Mabel (nee Titus) Lisson and the loving husband to Carolyn (nee Richardson) Lisson.
Kenneth bought his first calf at the age of 9 years old. He spent 20 years as a dairy farmer raising registered Ayrshires and in 2003 sold the dairy cattle and has since raised registered Black Angus beef. One of Kenneth’s favorite things to do was to spend time at his camp with family and friends.
Kenneth is survived by his wife Carolyn of 50 years; daughter-in-law Kim Lisson and her daughter Sarah (Cody) of Sussex; daughter Elaine (Ron) Goddard of Apohaqui and their children Robin (Matt), son Ethan, and Stevie Leigh (Brad); his son Stephen (Tammy) Lisson of Sussex and their children Lillian (Corey) and Stephen (Tabatha); daughter Nancy Lisson of Newtown and her children Amber and Karter; his sisters: Shirley MacIntyre and her children Darlene, John and Blair; Mildred Davis and her children Carl and Sonja; Sondra Secord and her children Harold, Kevin and Paul; and Audrey (Jim) Campbell and their children Scott and Eloise; as well as many extended family and friends.
Besides his parents, Kenneth was predeceased by his son Donald Victor Lisson in 2010, son-in-law Kevin Coates in 2013 and brothers-in-law: Andrew McIntyre in 2009, David Richardson in 2015 and Robert Secord in 2015.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road, Sussex, (506)433-2133 from where visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 from 4 to 8 pm. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 21 at 11:00 am with Rev. Wally Collett presiding in the Sussex Select Chapel.
Donations to a charity of choice in Kenneth’s memory would be appreciated by the family.
