Melvina was truly one of a kind. Everyone who had the pleasure of meeting her instantly fell in love with her kind and caring heart. She was known as the care taker in the family and she found great pleasure in taking care of not only her own family but others as well, especially the elderly. Her and Robert helped many children over the years as they were well loved Foster Parents. Her Newfoundland roots were always a big part of her life and she often talked of returning home for a visit. She had a passion for music and loved to play her accordion when she got the chance. Melvina was always up for a good laugh and enjoyed being a prankster, playing little tricks and getting laughs out of her family and friends. She was a long time member of Sea View Full Gospel Church and loved and cherished her church family and loved her Lord and Savior. Melvina's smile, sense of humor and helping hand will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George, NB. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9pm.
