The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Saturday, January 16, 2016, of Gordon Yeo, of Summerside, aged 88 years.
Born in South West Lot 16, he was the son of the late Earle and Mary (Forbes) Yeo.
Survived by his children, Douglas Yeo, Melbourne, Australia; Susan Yeo, Summerside; Donna (Brad) Wicks, St. John's, NL; Donald (Kimberly) Yeo, Calgary, AB; Nancy Yeo (Derek MacEwen), Stratford; grandchildren, Melissa and Daniel Yeo; Hilary, Spencer and Justin Wicks; Robert Stuart (Emily Burke); Michael MacEwen; great-grandsons, Cooper and Sawyer Stuart; and by sisters-in-law, Grace Yeo, Bertie Thompson and Glenn Newcombe. Predeceased by his wife, Wilna (Newcombe) Yeo; son-in-law, Rick Cannon; sister, Vera (Erskine) Forbes; and by brothers, Wendell and John Yeo.
Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Thursday, then to Trinity United Church, Summerside, for funeral service at 1:30 p.m. Interment later in the Lot 16 Methodist Cemetery. Visiting hours Wednesday from 6-8 p.m.
