It is with great sadness that the family of the late Arthur John Ropson announce his passing on Sunday, January 17, 2016 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in his 85th year. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Shirley (nee Osmond), children Dean (Maxine), Paulette Ropson, Kevin, Danny (Glynis), Jackie (Elvis) Osmond and Curtis, grandchildren Curtis, Gregory, Bryan, Ashley, Dixon, Danielle, Sabrina, Mason, Selina and Austin, great-grandchildren Mackenzie, Jacob, Amber, Jackson and Brooklyn and Sam, his siblings Eileen Rice, Elsie (William) Osmond, Allan (Susanne) Ropson, Harvey (Jane) Ropson. Also a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Olive and George Ropson, brothers Harold Joe Ropson and Eric Ropson. Visitation will take place from the Salvation Army Church in Hampden Tuesday, January 19th, 2016 2-4 and 7-9 pm where also funeral service will take place on Wednesday at 2 pm. with Major Wayne Pike officiating.
