Lois “Ona” Adeline Biggar, age 75 of Drummond Road, Westville passed away January 18, 2016 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in Summerside, PEI she was a daughter of the late Cecil and Teresa (Thompson) Mill.
Ona loved to spend time in the kitchen cooking and baking. She dearly loved time spent with her grandchildren and family. She worked as a cook at the Heather Motel in Stellarton and later at Summerset Manor in Summerside, PEI
She is survived by her husband Davison, Westville; children Stephanie Skinner, Halifax; Debbie Connors, Fort McMurray, AB; Wade Biggar, Halifax; Leslie Karmun, Anchorage, Alaska; Lisa Biggar, at home; 6 grandchildren , 3 step-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a grandson Davison Biggar, brother Elwin Mill and sister Wanda
Hunter.
Visitation will be from 2-6 pm on Thursday in the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow. Cremation will follow with burial to take place in Kensington, PEI at a later date.
Donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
