LISTON, CARL LAWRENCE
Carl L. Liston of Maple Ridge, NB passed away at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on January 18, 2016. Born at Maple Ridge, NB in 1951, he was a son of the late Owen and Glenna (Flemming) Liston.
He is remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and a great friend. Carl loved nature.
He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Ruth (Tucker) Liston; his children, Amy Bourque (Ryan), Moncton, NB and Michael Liston (Jennifer), Maple Ridge, NB; five grandchildren, Ashley, Bailey, Joshua, Matthew and Annie; his siblings, Robert (Anna), Fredericton, NB, Darlene Reid (Peter), Millville, Diane Bragdon (Les), Fredericton, NB, Beverly (Pam), London, ON, Myrtle Liston (Billy), Millville, NB and Judith Brown (Dannie), Fredericton, NB/North Sydney, NS; his mother-in-law, Florence Tucker; two aunts, Dorothy Billington and Hazel Flemming; his uncle Ronald McGuigan; several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law in Ruth’s family; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his father-in-law, Fred Tucker; a sister-in-law, Nancy Liston and a brother-in-law, Mack Reid.
Visiting hours will be held at the Maple Ridge Wesleyan Church, 1125 Route
605, Maple Ridge, NB on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 24, 2016 at 2 pm from the church with Pastor Mike Agrell officiating. A reception will follow in the church fellowship room. Interment will be held later at Maple Ridge Cemetery.
