It is with great sadness that the family of the late Elizabeth Anstey announce her passing at Corner Brook Long Term Care on Thursday, January 21, 2016 at the age of 94 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her son Tom (Sandra); daughter-in-law Ivy; grandchildren Todd (Nancy), Lisa (Bobby), and Nadine; step-grandchildren Brent (Tamara), Jennifer (Frank), and her adored great grandchildren. She will be missed by her nieces, nephews, friends and her special niece Ena Hull. Mom was predeceased by her husband Allan; son David and her sister Alice Spencer. Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. from St. John The Evangelist Anglican Church with Arch Bishop Stewart Payne officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the C.N.I.B or the Children's Wish Foundation.
