GOLDING, EDRIE MARLENE
It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the death of Edrie M. Golding of Tracy, NB on Thursday, January 21, 2016 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. She was born and raised in Tracy by her parents Winfield and Helen (DeWitt) Webb and raised her children there with her husband Clair Francis Golding.
Edrie was always busy and loved to socialize. Her career at the post office was a perfect fit for her. She also loved old time music, and being involved in things. She was a very competitive bowler, was the village clerk for a number of years and was a lifetime member of Tracy United Baptist Church and a member of the LOBA.
She will be missed by her children, Dale Golding (Jean) of Tracy, NB, Debbie Knorr (Dale) of Tracy, NB and Heather Shannon (Mark) of Fredericton Junction, NB; five grandchildren, Nicole Knorr (Steven), Robin Knorr (Darrell), Jonathan Golding (Carla), Erica Paige (Mike) and Jayme Shannon (Ashley); three great grandchildren, Liam, Sam and Amelia; brother, Hilton Webb and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Clair and sister, Glenna Harris.
Visitation will be held at Tracy United Baptist Church, 42 Willow Ave., Tracy, NB, on Saturday, January 23, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. The funeral will be held at the church on Sunday, January 24, 2016 at 3:00 pm with Rev. Jim Harrison officiating. Interment will take place at a later date in the Tracy United Baptist Cemetery.
