Passed peacefully away on January 21, 2016 at Glenbrook Lodge. Gone to join the many family members that met their demise before him; including his wife Shirley; sons Garry and Rodney; grandson Bradley; sister Marion; brothers Robert, Alex and Allan; sisters-in-law Ruth and Pat; brothers-in-law Hayward, Roy, Ken, Eddie, Max and Gordon. Frank started a young career as a paratrooper, joining troops as they descended into Germany on peacekeeping duties, followed with a return to Newfoundland to be with his family. His working days took him to Newfoundland Telephone Company where he retired as a pioneer. Woodworking was a talent and a pleasure of his; from making Go carts, pinball machines, doll houses, coffee tables, mantels and unusual board games. His family left to carry on through life's journey are his children David (Donna), Donna Parrell (Keith), Robert (Laura), Rick and Bonnie; daughter-in-law Sharon; grandchildren Tracey (Joey), Candace (Kevin), Angela (Terry), Jason, Nerissa (Jeff), Jessie (Elias), Taylor and Michael Power; brothers Wince (Russie) and Fred (Diane); sister Loraine (Bill); sisters-in-law Eleanor, Alice, Madeline (Dave); brothers-in-law Cyril Doc (Bernice - Deceased) and Kevin (Bernice). Thank You to all that cared for Frank, and to those that spent many hours visiting him. Waking at Cauls Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Saturday from 12 noon - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Sunday from 12 noon - 4 p.m. Cremation to follow. Funeral Service will take place on Monday, January 25, 2016 from Caul's Chapel at 11 a.m. Inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
