We, the family of Adeline Mary Munroe, regret to announce her passing on Saturday, Jan. 16, 2016, at the Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro.
Born on June 7, 1919, she was a daughter of the late John Norman and Loneybelle (Carson) MacLeod, Whitney Pier.
Surviving are her daughter, Cheryl MacDonald, Truro; three grandchildren, Malcolm MacDonald (Jennifer Church), Dartmouth, Graham (Amanda) MacDonald, Marion Bridge and Andrew MacDonald (Connie Ross-MacDonald), Baddeck; four great-grandchildren, Hannah, Dylan, Leland and Callum.
Adeline was predeceased by her husband, Malcolm Munroe, Marion Bridge.
The last surviving member of her immediate family, she was predeceased by her eight brothers and sisters.
Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held at a later date.
