Nicholas William REMUS

May 22, 1926 - January 16, 2016

Nick passed away peacefully Saturday, January 16, 2016 at the age of 89 at the Victoria Hospital. Nick was born in Gronlid, SK and raised on a farm outside of Melfort, SK. Nick was a Finishing Carpenter, enjoyed his work and took great pride in it. After getting his Carpentry Certificate, Nick worked briefly in Toronto than returned to Prince Albert where he met and married Dorothy Joan Green on June 13, 1954. Early on, Nick built houses in Prince Albert later worked where he retired from Daschuk Lumber. Nick is survived by his daughter Shirley (Bob) Thomson & granddaughters, Paige & Brianne of Calgary; his son Terry of Winnipeg; his daughter Marjorie of Saskatoon & his daughter Judy of Prince Albert. He was predeceased by his wife Dorothy in 2003 & grandson Eric in 1991. At Nick's request, there will be no service. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca.
