O'HARA, MYRNA JANICE (GREEN)
Myrna Janice (Green) O’Hara of Estey’s Bridge, NB, passed away Thursday, January 28, 2016 in the comfort of her home and in the loving care of her family. Born on November 4, 1942 in Tay Creek, NB, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Viola (Hawkes) Green.
She was a member of the Kingsley Silvertops Seniors. Myrna enjoyed camping, playing cards and loved spending time with her family and friends.
Myrna is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Janice and Ronnie Smith; granddaughters, Jennifer (Rhéal) Levesque and Kristen Smith; great-grandchildren, Peyton and Hunter Levesque; brothers and sisters-in-law, Irvine (Claudia) O’Hara, Sharon (Clinton) Nodwell, Bonnie (Ivan) Humble and Doris Green; several nieces and nephews, Bobby Green, Greg (Wendy) Green, Kathy (Jamie Till) Green, Trent (Shawna) Nodwell and Craig Nodwell.
Myrna was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Fred O’Hara; siblings, Frank, Roy and Rose Green.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Friday, January 29, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place in York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 1pm with Father Monte Peters officiating. Pallbearers for the service will be Trent Nodwell, Craig Nodwell, Lorne Levesque, Justin Levesque, Terry Humble and Brent Hawkes. Interment will take place in Seymour Memorial Cemetery at a later date.
