GAUM, RHODA
Rhoda Gaum, 74, of Riverview, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, January 27, 2016. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Max and Ida (Savage) Maklin.
Rhoda was a member of the Hadassah Women’s Zionist Organization, Temple Sons of Israel Sisterhood, Sydney, NS and the Multicultural Association of Nova Scotia.
Rhoda will be sadly missed by her daughter, Sharon Gaum-Kuchar of Aurora, ON; son, Bryan Gaum (Martine Veilleux) of Senneville, QC; grandson, Tristan Kuchar, of Aurora, ON; brother, Rubin Maklin (Lois) of Moncton.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by the father of her children, Morris Gaum.
Funeral Service will be held at Tiferes Israel Synagogue, Steadman Street, on Friday, January 29, 2016 at 2:30 pm. Interment will be held in the Tiferes Israel Cemetery, Dieppe.
Rhoda’s family would like to express their gratitude to the Nursing Staff at The Moncton Hospital and to the Grass Home for their support and care over the last four years.
