William 'Bill' Mollon

Bill Mollon passed away Thursday, Jan. 28, 2016, at Harbourstone Enhanced Care, Sydney.
Born June 19, 1933, he was a son of the late George and Bessie Mollon and grew up in Whitney Pier.
Bill loved playing cards with his buddies. He had alot of laughs telling stories about the past, especially with his pal, Donald Rice. If you wanted to know anything about family history, Bill was the fellow to ask. He could go back generations with names and dates of everyone. Bill had great stories of his relatives in Newfoundland in Meadows and Lark Harbour. He loved all animals and fed the pigeons everyday. Bill loved his cat, Pooga and often asked about him while he was in the hospital.
He is survived by his sister, Margaret (Enos) Rose, Sydney; sisters-in-law, Mae and Joan, Sydney; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides his parents, Bill was predeceased by his brothers, Les and Raymond and sister, Evelyn Goodman.
Per Bill’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Cremation has taken place under the care of Sydney Memorial Chapel and a family interment will be held at a later date.
