SWANSON, John Peter – 80, Waterside, passed January 28, 2016 in the Halifax Infirmary, from complications resulting from a fall on October 27, 2015.
John is survived by his loving wife, Joanne (Wallace); daughters, Shelley (Bob); Staci (Jeff); Kara (Rod); son, Adrian; grandchildren, Amanda, Brett, Riley, Oren, Ella, and Arlo. John is also survived by brothers, Gus and Tom; sisters, Marie Taylor and Chris Durning.
John was predeceased by sister, Gloria.
Cremation has taken place.
A celebration of John’s life will held from 2-4 PM on Wednesday, February 3, in Café Europe, 1338 Shore Rd, Waterside.
Family flowers only please, donations in John’s memory may be made to the Pictou County SPCA or a charity of choice.
