SCOTT, GERALD ADOLPHUS
It is with sadness that the family of Gerald Scott announces his death at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Friday, January 29th, 2016. Born in St. Stephen, NB, on May 4th, 1931, he was the husband of the late Betty Marie (Jackson) Scott.

Gerald leaves behind his sons, Michael (Marilyn) and Timothy (Lori) Scott; grandchildren, Jodi Cleghorn (Shawn), Steven Scott, Pamela Stevenson (Chris), and Jillian Adenstedt (Jeremy); great-grandchildren, Dalton and Brayden Cleghorn, Connar and Bailey Scott, Brianna Scott, Cohen and Cameron Stevenson, and Brody and Aria Adenstedt. Gerald is also survived by his sister, Maureen Gayton (Eddy); half-sister, Linda Scott; brother-in-law, Phil Jackson.

In addition to his wife, Betty, Gerald was predeceased by his parents, Catherine and Granville Scott; sisters, Gail McIntyre, Sandra Dagget, Lorna Seely, and Jackie McMorran; half-brother, Gary Scott.

Gerald served with the Canadian Armed Forces in places such as Cyprus and Egypt and was involved in peacekeeping from 1952-1970. He was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 93 in Oromocto. Gerald loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing.

There will be no visitation by request. The family will have a private graveside service in the spring.
