Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on Friday, January 29, 2016, Mary Horwood; Mary is predeceased by her mother Christina, her sisters Beatrice Learning (Ernest, deceased) and Margaret Crossman (Tom), and brother Frank (Patricia). Leaving to celebrate her memory are sisters Joan Bambrick (John), Barbara Hall (Frank, deceased), brothers Gerald (Regina, deceased) and Eric (Kay), many cousins, nephews, nieces - including Heather and Karen Bambrick, with whom she was especially close - and dear friends. The family would like to express gratitude to the exceptional nursing staff of Floor 5 South A at the Health Sciences Complex. Mary's Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, February 2, 2016, 11:00 am at St. Theresa's Church, Mundy Pond Road; interment to follow at a later date. Flowers will be gratefully accepted and/or donations may be made in Mary's memory to a charity of one's choice.
