It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Thomas Joseph 'Nooker' MacNeil on Thursday, Jan. 28, 2016, at the Glace Bay Hospital.
Survived by wife Christine (Curry), son Derrick (Charlene) Annapolis Valley, daughter Krista (Shannon McCormick), Reserve Mines, son Brendon (Kim) Ontario, four beautiful granddaughters, Taylor, Kennedy, Lauryn and Ava, brothers, Eddy (Anne Marie), Edgar (Mary Ellen), Basil, Lloyd, Kevin, sisters Marilyn (Ron Dunbar), Ruth (Bruce Beohner).
Predeceased by mother Maria MacNeil and Al (Wishie) and Leo.
There will be no visitation by request. A funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday, Feb. 3 at 11 a.m. in Curry's Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev Daniel Boudreau will be officiating. The interment will be in the spring.
