Philip Morris

Philip Morris age 76 went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 29, 2016 in Amherst, Nova Scotia.
Born in Springhill, NS he was a son of the late Vincent and Vila (Siddall) Morris.
He was a veteran of R.C.A.F. and later enjoyed a fulfilling career in the automotive industry. Those who knew Phil remember his passion for motorcycles and the camaraderie that it entailed.
In the last two years his struggle with dementia had reduced his quality of life. A special thank you to the entire staff of the East Cumberland Lodge for their care and compassion.
Phil will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Juanice (Fraser) Morris; sons, Michael (Nancy), Springhill and Jeffrey (Sarah) Toronto, ON; grandchildren, Meaghan, Kristin, Melissa, Oliver, and Julia; great grandson, Logan; sister, Marion (Bill) Hoytink, Langley, BC; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Phil was predeceased by his sisters, Marjorie Campbell and Harlo Morris.
A time of visitation will be held on Monday, February 1, 2016 from 6-8 pm from Campbell’s Funeral Home, 98 Church St., Amherst (902-667-9906). Funeral service will be celebrated Tuesday at 2 pm from Southampton Baptist Church with Pastor Philip Scott officiating. Reception to follow in the church basement.
Memorial donations in Phil’s memory may be made to the Southampton Baptist Church or charity of your choice.
