Passed peacefully away at the Health Science Centre on Monday, February 1st, 2016, in the presence of his loving family, George Walter Conway of Colliers, age 70 years. Predeceased by his mother Anna Conway and his father Walter Gesford; son Todd; grandson Trenton; son-in-law Martin Walsh; two sisters: Elizabeth McWilliam and Carmel Graves; and brother Joseph Conway. Leaving to mourn his wife Ellen; step-son Maxwell; step-daughter Beverly (Tom); step-son Shawn (Dana), daughter Melinda; and son George (Eduarda); eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two nieces: Jan and Marti; and brother-in-law John McWilliam. Also, extended family and friends. Resting at Flaherty's Memorial Funeral Home, 70 Conception Bay Highway, Conception Harbour, with visitation on Tuesday, February 2nd from 2-9 pm and Wednesday, February 3rd from 2-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will take place from Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Colliers on Thursday, February 4th, 2016, at 11 am. Interment to follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Colliers. In lieu of flowers, donations in George's memory can be made to the George Conway Memorial Fund.
