BASTARACHE, LORENZO "LARRY" JOSEPH
Lorenzo “Larry” J. Bastarache, 76, of Saint-Antoine, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont University Hospital Centre on Saturday, January 30, 2016. Born in Saint-Damien, he was the son of the late Arthur and Carmelite (Goguen) Bastarache.
Larry was a retired truck driver and a member of the McKees Mills Baptist Church. Always willing to lend a helping hand, he enjoyed going to church, playing games with his friends, tinkering around the house and spending time with his family.
Larry will be sadly missed by his daughter, Joy Hicks (Stephen) of McKees Mills; three grandchildren, Meaghan, Matthew and Kyle; precious great granddaughter, Mila; brothers, Guy (Bernice) of Cap Pelé, Herve (Germaine) of Dieppe and Ulysse (Marion) of Montreal, PQ, as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Patricia (Rogers) Bastarache (2007); several brothers and sister.
Visitation at McKees Mills Baptist Church, 1039 Sheridan Road, McKees Mills, on Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held at McKees Mills Baptist Church on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 2:00 pm, with Rev. Derek Geldart officiating. Interment will be in the McKees Mills Baptist Cemetery in the spring. Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) in care of arrangements.
In Larry’s memory, donations to the McKees Mills Baptist Church Cemetery Fund would be appreciated by the family.
