Passed away into peace at her home in St. Lunaire-Griquet on the 18th of January 2016, Mrs. Mabel Patey, in her 81st year. Left to mourn her loss are her son Mervin Chambers; daughter Wavey Chambers; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers and three sisters. In her life Mabel saw the passing of her parents Ida and Lorenzo Patey, her son Melvin Chambers, sister Beatrice Pilgrim, and brothers Melvin and Lewis. Visitation took place at the Pentecostal Church in St. Lunaire-Griquet from where the funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 21 with Pastor Wayne Baker officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Siobhan Mauger, funeral director.
