POLLOCK, MARJORIE MARIE
It is with great sadness the family announce the death of Marjorie Pollock of Rowley, who passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital with her family at her side on February 6, 2016. Born in Bathurst, January 14, of 1934, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Clorice (Doucette) Adams.
Marjorie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She enjoyed music, crocheting, knitting, drives and trips, the cottage in Richibucto and especially time with family and friends.
Marjorie is survived by sons Steven King of Saint John, Gordon King (Pat) of Alberta, Donald King and David King both of Ontario, Bobbie King of Moncton and Jason King of Alberta; daughters Lorraine Elliott (Bill) of Quebec, Mary Jane Richard (Francis) of Rowley, Christine Watmore (Late Bill Wetmore) of Moncton, Shirley Ann Churchill (Douglas) and Gloria King both of Saint John, Helen King (Gary) of London, ON and Joyce Morris (Trevor) of North Bay, ON, brothers Chuck Adams (Vye) of Hampton and Rogers Adams of Saint John; sisters Vengeline of Montreal PQ, Bertha Miller of Bathurst, Lorraine Campbell (Frank) of Grand-Bay-Westfield and Germaine of Bathurst; 20 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and four great-great grandsons; nieces, nephews and friends.
Besides her parents, Marjorie was predeceased by her husband Bill Pollock; two sons Roger and Terry King; former husband Lawrence King; two brothers and a sister.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Fundy Funeral Home 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation on Wednesday February 10th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial service will be held from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, February 11th at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Fernhill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations in Marjorie’s memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, New Brunswick Lung Association or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
