It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Peter Douglas MacIntyre, 60, on Jan. 31, 2016.
Peter Douglas, born Nov. 27, 1955, is survived by his brother Paul (Lorna) of Dartmouth and sister Marilyn Hart of Edmonton, Alta.; nephew Chris (Holly) Hart and niece Erin (Carlos) Hart-Basualdo of Edmonton, Alta and one great-niece and five great-nephews all of Edmonton.
Predeceased by his parents Hector and June (Ratchford) MacIntyre.
The family of Peter Douglas MacIntyre would like to thank Dr. Ripley, Ms. Lesley Bethune and the nursing staff of unit 84 of the Halifax Infirmary for their compassionate care and kindness shown to our brother.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2016 at 2 p.m. in A.L. Mattatall Funeral Home, 217 Portland St., Dartmouth.
