LeBLANC, MAURICE "MOE"
1953 - 2016
It is with greatest sorrow that we announce the passing of our much loved brother and friend, Maurice “Moe” Léo LeBlanc, 62, of Moncton, on Monday February 8, 2016 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born on June 11, 1953 in Moncton, Moe was the eldest son of René LeBlanc and the late Dorina (Bourgeois) LeBlanc.
A brave soul who fought a courageous battle, only to succumb to a brief illness, Moe was a former musician, drummer, band member of Canyon, music promoter and all around lover of music.
Moe is survived by his father, René LeBlanc; his first love Nicole and their twin sons: Jason and Stefan; second love Leslie and their daughter Tara; sisters: Joanne (Murray) and Gisèle (Victor); loving brothers and best friends: Jacques and Danny; nephews: Jarrett, Josh and Evan, and niece Jessica; as well as the countless number of friends who crossed paths and shared a special bond with Moe.
Predeceased by his beautiful and loving Mom, Dorina LeBlanc who passed away in 2003, and is now sharing some love, memories, homemade rolls and possibly a son and mother waltz.
“To all those I leave behind wondering if I will be playing the drums in heaven: That’s my business”, Love, Mo-Jo.
