ROBICHEAU, Joseph Robert (Bob/Fisheye), October 3, 1942 - February 6, 2016. Bob was known to live life on his own terms and did so to his end, suddenly passing away at home. Born in Yarmouth to Margarite (Lizzie) and George (Alfred) Robicheau. He was employed by Scotia Gardens Seafood & former owner of R & B Oil Burner. Bob enjoyed frequenting the bench “down to the corner” to hear the town tales and was known to tell a few. The bench will never be the same without him. He leaves behind his spouse of 39 years Ruth (Fournier) Muise; children - Kerry (Karen) Fyfe (Michael), Bev Hatfield (Rob Harrison), Ian Muise (Jennifer Thrasher) and like-a-son Shawn Hatfield; granddaughters Torie & Mariah; brothers Edward, Willard, Tony and sisters Pauline, Margaret Rose, Emily and respective families. He was predeceased by sister Rita in infancy, brother William and parents. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. Visitation was held Thursday, February 11, 2016 from 11:30 a.m. until funeral time at 2 p.m. all in Sweeny's Funeral Home Chapel, Deacon Steven Bourque officiated. Interment followed in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery followed by a reception in the Saint Ambrose Cathedral Jubilee Room. Donations in memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
