GAUVIN, DORILLA
1917 - 2016
Dorilla Gauvin, 98, of Foyer St-Antoine, formerly of Riverview and Dover, NB, passed away on Tuesday, February 9th, 2016, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton, NB. Born in St-Antoine, NB, she was the daughter of the late Amédée and the late Marie (née: Goguen) Melanson.
Mrs. Gauvin was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.
She is survived by six daughters: Florence, Mai (Tilmon), Rachel (late Abbe), Stella (Edward), Francine (Wolf) and Monique (Michel); one son, Paul-Emile (Sue); one sister, Anida, as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and also many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Henri O. (1995); two daughters: Jeannette and Yvette; one son, Roger and also by two brothers: Philippe and Leo.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Sunday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Saint-Anselme Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, NB, on Monday, February 15th, 2016 at 11 am.
Interment in Saint-Anselme Parish Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
