Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family on February 12, 2016 at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital at the age 77. Predeceased by her parents William and Flora Escott; brothers Bill (Joan) Escott and Edward Escott; sister Dorothy King; and brother-in-law Walter Brennan. Leaving to mourn are her loving husband of 56 years, Bill Brennan; her children Diane Ralph (Myles) and Bill Brennan (Susan); grandchildren Myles, Michael, Jason, and Johnathan; great-grandchildren Brennan, Kayley and Madeline; sister Ethel Brennan; special nieces Rosalind Escott and Rose Marie Hickman; as well as other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place at Gertrude's request. Funeral Service will take place at 2:30 pm from Caul's Chapel on Monday, February 15, 2016 with inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
