Nolan, Betty
Surrounded by her family, Elizabeth “Betty” Lulilla Nolan, loving wife of George William “Bill” Nolan passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 14, 2016 at Bobby’s Hospice. Born in Saint John on July 9, 1938 she was the daughter of the late William and Olivia (Sargent) McIntyre.
Betty worked for Imperial Optical with her husband for many years. She enjoyed camping at the TNT Campground, playing BINGO, doing puzzles and spending time with her family. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her loving and devoted husband of 56 years, Bill she is survived by her son Eric Nolan (Darlene); daughter Heather Magee (Robert); cherished grandchildren Colleen Templeton (Colin Boyd), Ashley Breen (Ryan), Chris Templeton (Sara McDermott), Megan Scott (Alex) and Melissa Magee; brothers William McIntyre (Barb) and Raymond McIntyre (Debbie); several nieces and nephews.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) on Tuesday, February 16 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Fernhill Cemetery.
