Cole, Randy E.
With heavy and saddened hearts, the family of Randy E. Cole announce that he lost his courageous battle with MS on Sunday, February 14th, 2016 at the Saint John Regional Hospital.
He was born in Montreal, PQ on February 9, 1954 to the late George and Irene (Vail) Cole. Randy worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for the City of Saint John for many years until his retirement due to MS. He is survived by his loving wife, Susan “Scottie” (McIntyre), daughter; Doralee (Aaron) Gillet and grandson Jaxen; his son; Lindsay (Erica) and granddaughter Alexis and grandson Caden, his brothers; George (Sue) and Donald, his sisters; Joan Guitar, Marsha (Lester) Bastarache and Victoria Craft; sister-in-law Pam Cole; several nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in law and sisters-in law, special uncle Robert (Joan) Cole, special niece Charity (McIntyre) MacRae, who lovingly helped with his care, special nephew John Fournier and special nephew Daniel (Johanna) McIntyre and their daughters; Julianna and Bella, who he loved and thought of as granddaughters. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his younger brother Michael who passed away just 1 ½ hours before he did on Sunday.
Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). As per Randy’s wishes there will be no visitation. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 20th, 2016 at his residence at 1600 Golden Grove Road from 2 to 6pm.
