GIONET, LIONEL
1937 - 2016
Lionel Gionet, 78, of Dieppe, NB, passed away on Saturday, February 13th, 2016 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton, NB.

Born in Dalhousie, NB, he was the son of the late Onésime and the late Dora (née: Doucet) Gionet. Prior to retirement, Mr. Gionet served as Vice-President at Assomption Life for 26 years. He was a member of Saint-Anselme parish.

He is survived by his wife, Lise (née: Gauthier); one son, Frederic (Josette Melanson) of Moncton; four sisters: Léona, Mona, Yvette and Jeanette; three brothers: Paul, Ernest and Donald; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents; he was predeceased by one sister, Viola and by one brother, Aurel.

Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Friday from 9 am until time of departure.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held from Saint-Anselme Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, NB on Friday, February 19th, 2016 at 11 am.
