At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Monday, February 15, 2016, the passing of Hazel Davies, age 81, of Belfast, beloved wife of 59 years to Howard Davies.
Born in Roseberry, PEI, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Florence (MacAulay) MacKenzie.
Hazel will be greatly missed by her loving children; George (Colleen), Albert (Tracey), Mark (Patricia), Mary Ellen, and Glen (Tammy); sister, Jean (Charles) Rogers; cherished grandchildren, Jeremy, Ryan, Megan, Jordan, Rebeca, Sam, Cameron, Noah and great-grandson, Grayson; sister-in-law of Caryl (Reg) MacPherson, Margaret Weatherbie, Marie McGregor, Minnie (Nelson) Blanchard, John (Roma) Davies and Edith (Sam) Shannon. Predeceased by her brother, John MacKenzie, and sister, Elizabeth Leyte; granddaughters, Martha and Emma Dougan.
Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home with visiting on Wednesday, February 17 from 5 to 8 p.m. Funeral to take place on Thursday, February 18 from the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. Interment to take place in the Belfast Memorial Cemetery at a later date.
