CALDWELL, Geraldine Winifred Mary “Doll” - Age 81, of Three Mile Plains, Hants Co., passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, February 14, 2016, after a long struggle with cancer. Born May 18, 1934 in Windsor, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Gladys (Parker) Swinamer. Geraldine worked as a lead hand for Avon Valley Greenhouses in Falmouth. She is survived by her daughters, Margaret Richards (Tim Legere); Faith Chaisson; Sherry Caldwell; sons, Robert (Dorothy); Gerald (Judy); 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; sister, Cecilia “Honey” Lowe; brothers, Floyd; Gerald “Bob” (her twin); Victor “Bun”. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by husband, Herman Caldwell; sisters, Norma Goodwin; Isabel Hines; Ruby Moore; Caroline Swinamer; brothers, Laurie; Leslie “King”; son-in-law, Bill Chaisson. Arrangements were entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., PO Box 981, Windsor, NS B0N 2T0 (902-798-8317), where visitation was held 6-8 p.m. Friday, February 19. A funeral service took place in the DeMont Family Funeral Home Chapel at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 20, Rev. Bill Gibson officiated, followed by burial in Ste. Croix Cemetery, St. Croix.
