KINNEY, RAYMOND ALBERT
Raymond passed away peacefully on February 24, 2016 at Lincourt Manor, St. Stephen, NB. Born on September 13, 1917 at Red Rock, NB he was the son of the late Judson and Margaret (Milliken) Kinney.
He is survived by one daughter: Ann Kinney of Back Bay, NB; two sons: Robert (Brenda) Kinney of St. George, NB and Greg Kinney of Back Bay, NB; three grandsons: Stephen (Carole) of St. George, NB, Jeremy (Lisa) of Fredericton, NB and Benjamin (Stephanie) of Utopia, NB; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides his parents, Ray was predeceased by his wife Mary (Ward) Kinney in 1996; and by one sister: Lois.
Ray worked most of his life as a weir fisherman and later at Lake Utopia Paper Inc. from where he retired in 1982. He was a member of the Back Bay Church of Christ and will be forever loved and missed by his family.
Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George, NB. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 6 to 9 pm. The service will take place from the funeral home chapel on Friday at 2:00 pm with Conrad Cline officiating. The interment will be held in the St. George Rural Cemetery in the spring.
In Ray's memory, donations to a charity of the donor's choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
