Patricia Scribner

SCRIBNER, PATRICIA ANN (BRIDEAU)
It is with great sadness the family of Patti Scribner announces her passing at the Saint John Regional Hospital surrounded by family and friends on February 24, 2016 resulting from a Brain Aneurysm. She was born on March 16, 1967 in Saint John and was the daughter of Bob Brideau and Gail (Godfrey) Cunningham but was brought up by her Grandparents Juliette and Alphonse Brideau for which she was always eternally grateful.
She will be deeply missed by her son James “Brady” Scribner; sisters Debbie (Leonard) Palmer and April Brideau; brother Tim Brideau; aunts Karen Ann (Jeff) Mantin, Valerie Brideau; uncle Allan; first cousins Angela, Doug, David (Melanie), Stephen (Angie), John (Josie), Julie (Steve) Whitlock; nieces Meaghan (Nick), Jessica, Destiny, Courtney, Jordan and nephew Tyrell; as well as many cousins and extended family. Also survived by her ex-husband Roy (Heather) Scribner and all his family whom she still considered her own as “ex’s are never ex in our family.” She also had cousin Jason Doucet whom she called her “other brother” and loved dearly.
She was very fortunate to have many, many friends especially Angie Vincent-Kean and Denise Boisvert whom have been her “sisters” since she was very young. She considered them every bit her family and their families as well as Gary and Nancy Mills and their family next-door who have always been there for her and Brady and consider Patti as a daughter and Brady as a grandson.
Patti was a hairdresser for Cuts Unlimited and had many close friends and clients along the way especially Dolly, David, Tanya, Melanie, Pat, Krista, Andrew, Gail, Tyler, Walter, Tracy, Dustin and the hundreds of others she’s ever met. She was the kindest, most generous person one ever met. If anyone ever needed anything. All they had to do was ask. She was always running out doing people’s hair at home if they couldn’t get out, baking and cooking and volunteering and watching Brady play hockey. Brady was the number one person in her life and would do anything for him. She loved taking him out to supper, movies, hockey and just spending time with him. Thank you to Claire for being strong for Brady
Arrangements are under the care of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John (634-1701). Visitation will be held on Saturday February 27, 2016 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. A Memorial Service will follow from Castle Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00pm.
