It is with great sadness and fond memories we, the family, announce the passing of our dear sister and aunt, Germaine Helen Baylis at the Northside General Hospital on Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2016.
Born in Grand Etang on Dec. 26, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Mary (Cormier) Aucoin.
At an early age she moved to Reserve Mines where she spent her childhood years. After spending most of her adult life in Toronto and following her husband Bob’s death, she moved to Sydney to be near her family who meant so much to her. Besides her parents, Germaine was predeceased by her loving husband, Bob in 1990; siblings, Mary, Sabine, Isabel, Dominic, Alphonse and Francis.
