Gladys Christina (MacDonald) Henry

We regret to announce mom's passing on Feb. 25, 2016.
Though she endured a lengthy illness mom maintained her faith in God's promise of everlasting life on a restored paradise earth, and she shared this promise with others at every opportunity.
Left to mourn are son, Jesse (Wendy) Henry and daughters, Debbie Henry-Horton (Daniel) and Rachel Henry. Mom was proud of her three grandchildren, Brandi Boylen (Luke), Amanda Benoit (Jeremy) and Jacob Henry. Mom adored her five precious great-grandchildren, Charlee, Kiara, Eli, Zeke and Jude. Also surviving are sisters, Mary Camus, Barbara Cameron, Laura Dyck; sister-in-law, Patricia McDonald and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Mon had many special and lifelong friends who are too numerous to mention.
Her faith and strength was often an example to many during her illness and the many years she cared for our father during his.
Besides parents Neil and Laura (Summerell) McDonald, mom was predeceased by our father, Frederick Henry and her siblings, Shirley and Tom.
We thank our many friends and family members for their support. A special thanks to Dr. Murdock Smith, VON, City Homemakers and the doctors and nurses of 4A, 4C and palliative care.
Visitation tomorrow (Sunday) 6 to 8 p.m. at S.W. Chant & Son Funeral Home. Funeral service, 2 p.m. Monday, Feb 29 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 786 Alexandra St., Sydney.
